The extremal Kerr entropy in higher-derivative gravities

We investigate higher derivative corrections to the extremal Kerr black hole in context of heterotic string theory with $\alpha'$ and a cubic-curvature extension general relativity. By analyzing near-horizon geometry these holes, we are able compute Iyer-Wald entropy as well angular momentum via generalized Komar integrals. In case stringy corrections, obtain physically relevant relation $S(J)$ at order $\alpha'^2$. On other hand, cubic theories, which chosen Einsteinian gravity plus new odd-parity density analogous features, possess special integrability properties that enable us exact results higher-derivative couplings. This allows find arbitrary orders couplings even study it non-perturbative way. also extend our analysis Kerr-(A)dS hole.

Based on the entropy function formalism, we consider the extremal Kerr(anti-)de Sitter black holes in 4-dimensions. Solving differential equations exactly, which are obtained by extremizing the entropy function, we find agreement of the result with Bekenstein-Hawking entropy.
